How to Use Contemporary Accent Tables as Coffee Tables

Large contemporary accent tables might not fit your space, or provide the look that you are trying to achieve  in a family room or living room. For this reason, a growing number of manufacturers are now creating accent tables, end tables and side tables that can be used as a coffee table as well. These smaller tables will allow you to put a snack or drink on top, but are more compact, and can be moved around as needed.

Recently, a client asked us to design a family room around a reclining sofa, which encouraged us to look into these alternative tables. We wanted a pair of tables that can sit in front of the sofas and, when they need to recline, can easily be moved to the sides as end tables. Whether you have the same situation, a small space or any other reason, you can definitely get ideas from one of these options.
